I'm crazy for you, Latin America!

Todo louco tem sua mania, seu delírio, seu objetivo impossível. Nossa loucura é acreditar numa América Latina descolonizada, unida, livre, soberana, solidária, respeitosa e reconhecedora de sua diversidade cultural. Ninguém é louco só um pouco, as: “Eu sou Napoleão Bonaparte, mas só uso o chapéu, o uniforme não uso porque não sou tão louco assim”. Sua loucura leva a outras coisas, a viajar no próprio universo da sua paixão. Estas linhas não bastam, brotam imagens, canções, vídeos, quadros, poesias. Tentando dar vazão a essa quantidade de informação que vamos acessando mediante nossa loucura por América Latina- Abya Yala, Nuestra América, Pátria Grande ou como queiram chamar- criamos a TV Loco Por Ti. Através dela estaremos divulgando alguns vídeos que fazem refletir sobre nossa realidade. Vez ou outra passo por uma banca de jornais e encontro entre os livros alguma obra do escritor uruguaio Eduardo Galeano. A responsável pela publicação é a editora LP&M em sua coleção LP&M Pocket que oferece livros com a praticidade e o preço acessível dos pocket books. Os livros de bolso geralmente custam cerca da metade que uma edição normal. Lançamos em primeira mão aqui no Soy Loco Por Ti o pequeno documentário que fiz depois de uma viagem pela Colômbia em julho. Está em espanhol e sem legendas ainda. Segue a sinopse e o vídeo abaixo:

O filme foi dirigido nos anos 70 pelo mestre do cinema político, o grego Costa-Gravas. A produção é européia mas o enredo é latino-americano. Baseado numa história real passada pouco anos antes no Uruguai, State of Siege conta a atuação dos tupamaros, grupo guerrilheiro urbano que aterrorizou a ditadura direitista do país. O roteiro é baseado na mais famosa ação dos tupamaros: o sequestro de um agente norte-americano e um cônsul brasileiro. The principle, o motivo da escolha do um cidadão estadunidense é uma incógnita, logo desvendada nas cenas que retratam a primeira entrevista dos guerrilheiros com o sequestrado, uma conversa que pouco a pouco vai revelando as do relações do agente com o serviço secreto dos EUA e o treinamento de militares e torturadores preparados para agir em outros países sul-americanos.

É um filme mais de política que de ação, Then, o que vai dar a tônica são justamente os reveladores interrogatórios, embora o clima de suspense esteja sempre presente. Vale apena conferir esse clássico, fruto de excelente pesquisa dos roteiristas. Assista abaixo na íntegra:
